What You Need To Know Before Undergoing Cosmetic Surgery
Before you undergo cosmetic treatment, there are a few things you should consider.
At Ashbury Cosmetics in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast we offer payment plans to help you get the treatment you want. We offer MacCredit and Mediplan.
MacCredit
MacCredit stands for Medical and Cosmetic Credit, and provides you with an alternative payment method. Instead of waiting until you have all the money, you can use MacCredit to help finance your treatment.
MacCredit offers payment plans for as much as $70 000, and can finance part of or all of your procedure. If you are interested in applying for MacCredit you can do so here: maccredit.com.au
MacCredit offers financing options for:
- Plastic surgery
- Cosmetic surgery
- General surgery
- Ear, nose & throat
- Dental/orthodontic
- IVF programs
This payment plan option allows you to worry less and focus on getting the treatment you want.
Mediplan
This is a flexible payment plan that is designed specifically for patients without private health insurance. Mediplan is an excellent option to fill the gap left by private health insurance companies. It incorporates an unsecured load, for amounts from $1500 to $20,000. A Special fixed interest rate, which is well below most credit card rates, has been negotiated.
One of the advantages of Mediplan is that the monthly repayments can be budgeted over terms from 12 months to 60 months.
In many cases we can structure payment plans so that the amount of interest is equal to, or less than, your 20% medical expense tax rebate entitlement. What this does for you is make Mediplan interest neutral.

Are you an ideal candidate for cosmetic surgery?
Before you undergo cosmetic surgery it is important that you have realistic expectations of what treatment can achieve for You. Television, movies and magazines are notorious for distorting the human figure with programs like Photoshop.
Also your body is different to everyone else. What might work for one person may not work for you. That is why, when you visit us for a consultation we can discuss your options and what will work for your body type.
