Chemical Peels

Reveal fresher and younger looking skin with a chemical peel

We all want to have smooth and vibrant looking skin. Through the cosmetic treatments available at Ashbury Cosmetics in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast you can improve the quality of your skin and remove the superficially damaged layers. This is often achieved through treatments such as chemical peels and laser treatment.

Chemical Peel Brisbane

Chemical peels are one of the most sought after skin care treatments through our clinics and have satisfied countless numbers of patients.

Chemical peels are used to improve the quality of your skin and effectively remove the superficial, damaged layers of the skin to reveal a much fresher, smoother, and younger looking layer beneath.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Ashbury Cosmetics in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast we have successfully treated countless patients with chemical peels. Here are some of the most frequently asked questions we have been asked prior to treatment:

What are the benefits of a chemical peel?

A chemical peel takes away dead skin cells and compels the generation of new skin, thus eliminating fine lines, wrinkles, sun spots, blotchiness, dryness acne and a host of other mild skin conditions.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment length will depend on the condition of your skin and the extent of the treatment. However, the average treatment shouldn’t go for more than 15 minutes.

What does a treatment feel like?

Treatment shouldn’t hurt, but you will feel a slight stinging sensation that will go away after a few minutes.

What can I expect after a treatment?

Immediately after treatment your skin may be slightly red (depending on which chemical peel you have) but it will be nothing drastic. In fact, the redness should disappear by the end of the day. Again, this will depend on the treatment you have.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments required will depend on your skin and your desired outcome. However, the standard amount of treatment is a program of 1 peel a week for six weeks.
